Budapest, November 17, 2025 
The sale of Semilab International Zrt.’s U.S. subsidiary has been completed. Semilab International Zrt.’s U.S. subsidiary (Semilab USA LLC) has been acquired by Onto Innovation Inc. (NYSE: ONTO), a publicly-traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, following the receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other closing conditions.

The purchase price was approximately USD 495 million, approximately HUF 164 billion.

Semilab Zrt. and its foreign subsidiaries were not part of the transaction, and they continue to operate independently in Hungary and in the rest of the world.

The completed transaction creates new opportunities for the Semilab Group to continue serving its existing customers through further product development and innovation, and to expand into new markets. The Budapest-based company group will also be able to strengthen its role in education and training for future generations, particularly in promoting science and engineering disciplines.
