We are pleased to announce that effective 04. December 2024, Semilab has acquired MicroVacuum Ltd., of Budapest, Hungary, manufacturer of the QCM and OWLS products.

MicroVacuum is a global supplier of analytical equipment designed for thin film and surface characterization, widely used in life-science, battery research, space exploration, oil industries and more. The well-known QCM and OWLS products and services will continue to be available through Semilab.

During the transition period we are carrying out a thorough review of sales distribution and support structure and initiating a plan to harmonize them with Semilab’s global sales and support organization. For existing systems in the field, Semilab will make its best efforts to maintain a continuous supply of spare parts, and where possible, may also quote field service support. Further information will be communicated as it becomes available.
